In February we bought a new playscape swingset. Being in Michigan we have to depend on good weather to assemble it....and oh yeah, free time to do it. This pic was taken on May 2.
Since then Braeden and Ed have been working on it about an hour 2-3 nights a week. So slowly it has been looking more and more like a swingset. We still haven't got the twirly slide, the awning on the top, a window box and a few other odds and ends.
We have to call someone out for some pea rock, we need a few tons of it. We would like to get all the other "kid" stuff (picnic tabel, sand boxes, the 8 and 1 climber for the babies) in the same area like a playground. Anyway, this is the progression. We are hoping to finish it Memorial Day weekend if we are lucky. The weather has been so cold though, I can't wait to see if the Liam and Brenna like the swings. So far at the park they are not very happy about the swings. Braeden used to love them at their age.

looking good! I told Paul about your investing in the big playset this winter and we're thinking about forgoing presents this winter and asking for help to pay for the same...good luck getting it finished and set up!
